The observation of the Moon phases is a great example of a changing ‘circle’ in nature.
Performing circle and pen prints, by British graphic designer Daniel Eatock.
John Baldessari is an American conceptual artist born in 1931. In this work, he uses existing imagery and places dots of different colours on people’s faces. By doing so, he manages to erase individuality and forces the viewer to look elsewhere on the photo. His coloured dots also refer to codes he stated: red/dangerous, green/ safe, blue/ platonic, and yellow/ crazy.
